InspirasiRumahIdaman.my.id - Home is where we grow. Limited space is not a hurdle in creating a comforting space. This home is the first home of Iman and Vinny. Iman works as an employee and Vinny is a homemaker and freelancer. They call their home Rumah Imani ( Imani House ).

This house was designed by Mande Austriono from DForm and consists of 2 floors. The first floor has a family room, kitchen, dining area and bathroom.. The second floor is the master bedroom. The house took 6 months to build and Iman and Vinny moved in in September 2019.

The concept for the house was H.O.M.E. Iman and Vinny wanted a home that had a lot of light and good ventilation. Every space is designed to be flexible to accommodate the needs of the people living in it.

This house also supports the minimalist lifestyle lead by Iman and Vinny. The concept of a growing home is a home that’s built in stages Adjusting to the needs and conditions of the owners. This concept is a solution to save money on construction, So the home can be built based on the owner’s time and needs.

For example, the second floor is planned to have a master bedroom and a child’s room, but at the moment the space is 1 room. Iman and Vinny use an open space concept To maximize available space, So the family room feels more spacious and cozy As a space to gather together The use of glass sliding doors enhances the open space concept.

Besides, enabling better air circulation Sliding doors can increase the amount of light coming into the house. One of the most important things for a home with limited space is storage to maximize space.

Iman and Vinny had custom made furniture to fill in dead spaces Like small cupboards underneath the stairs to keep toys and shoes. Open storage is also used by Iman and Vinny.. Besides, making the area feel spacious, open storage also makes it easier for Iman and Vinny to organize their belongings.

Even with limited space, we can still explore the space. Iman and Vinny enjoy the café feeling so they decided to create a coffee spot in front of their home.. Besides becoming a family space, the coffee spot can also be a guest area.

According to Iman, home is the owner’s comfort. Zone. Limited space is not a hurdle to have a comfortable home for yourself and your family.
